When I think of Mellow Metal Music the names of Queensryche and Geoff Tate come to mind.
If you've followed any type of metal music over the years you have listened to some of Queensryche and Geoff Tate. Geoff Tate had a good run with Queensrÿche from 1982 to 2012. Typical of rock stars and their bands Geoff Tate had a very ugly divorce from Queensrÿche in 2012 that ended with years of lawsuits.
Here's to remembering the good times and the good sounds of Queensryche and Geoff Tate with this live performance from 1992.
